Agrodome

This is one attraction that needs no introduction. It is one of the oldest continuous running animal shows in the world. Experience typical farming tasks on a NZ sheep and cattle farm. Milk a cow, feed a lamb or ride on the back of a huge docile bull but leave the shearing to the expert. A Rotorua show that can be enjoyed by the whole family. Agroventures is on the same site and you can get your adrenaline rush in numerous ways. Try the Swoop or experience sky diving only a few feet from the ground, ride in a jet sprint boat - you choose. You are just across the road from the famous

Zorb, so if tumbling down a hill in a huge plastic ball is on your bucket list you can do everything in one place in one day.

Mitai is the site of the old Fairy Springs attraction and Mitai make use of the stream in a unique way. See Maori warriors travelling as they used to in the old days, by Waka, (or Canoe). Stroll up the stream after the cultural show and see the glow worms as they vie to attract their mates. You will be picked up from Sport of Kings and taken to the village and later you can combine your cultural experience with an "after dark" experience at Rainbow Springs before you return to Sport of Kings for a relaxing spa and a glass of Pinot Gris. This is an attraction that should be booked in advance so let us know if you wish us to book for you when you make your reservation at Sport of Kings.

Rainbow Springs where you will meet a real dinasaur together with many other wildlife attractions. Get up close with a Kiwi, at Kiwi encounter, walk up the valley to the source of springs and most of all check out the huge wild Rainbow Trout in the stream. Yes some of the trout have been there for many years - they are the smart ones who know they are onto a good thing, but they are free to leave any time they want. If you at all interested in NZ flora and fauna a visit to the "Springs" is a must. Combine your visit to Mitai with an "after dark" Kiwi tour where you can experience the NZ bush as it really is. The double is an attraction that should be booked in advance so let us know if you wish us to book for you when you make your reservation at Sport of Kings.
