Opening Hours 7:30am to 9:00pm 365 days of the year.
Your hosts live on site and they are available during office hours and, in emergency, 24/7. Check in is between 2:00pm and 9:00pm. Check out is prior to 10:00am on the morning of departure.

We will book your attractions and restaurants to ensure you get the best service possible, we have free discount vouchers for some attractions, and we can arrange transport to wherever you want to go. |

In Room telephone
In rooms telephones are provided for guest convenience.
All in room telephones are computer monitored and calls will be charged on check out. Charges reflect business call charges in NZ together with a hotel surcharge. We do suggest you use your calls wisely.
Motel Parking
All Parking is off road and close to your apartment.
We offer one free off road parking spot for each apartment. Being located in a quiet street there is also plenty of roadside parking for visitors. If you have a large vehicle or trailer please let us know and we can allocate you a special parking area.
Heated Pools & Geothermal Heating
Many Rotorua Motels offer the benefits of geothermal heating and some motels offer heated pools, however to ensure your health and safety Sport of kings Motel has invested in counter flow heat exchangers. This system ensures the geothermal water used for heating and bathing is properly treated and does not contain dangerous sulphurous gases.
Sport of Kings Motel is located in the geothermally active suburb of Whakarewarewa. The forces that fuel the geysers, mud pools, fumeroles and crystal clear boiling pools are the same forces that fuel our heated pool and spa water. Thermally heated water is used for the spa pools and swimming pool. The thermally heated water is circulated through a large filter and chlorination system to maintain comfortable swimming and bathing temperatures. The pools meet WHO standards and are totally safe for all the family. The motels one bedroom spa apartments have their own thermally heated spa pool off the bedroom. The pool area is separated from the bedroom by a glass door and is vented to the open air. This allows you to relax in the hot pool, no matter what the season, with plenty of fresh air. There are two large family spa pools available to all motel guests. They both feature a large, carpeted changing room and fully decked spa big enough for the whole family.

Pools are constantly circulating through a heat exchanger and the temperature is set automatically.
Motel Internet access
You have the choice of in room WiFi and free internet in Reception.
Whilst there is a small fee for in room WiFi there is free internet computer located in reception and available during office opening hours. No bookings are required.
