Term and Conditions
All guests of Sport of Kings Motel are entitled to know details of their financial and other contractual arrangements. After check in guests are further entitled to undisturbed peace and quiet. The following terms and conditions are aimed at achieving these objectives.
Tariffs
All rates and minimum booking periods apply at the time of booking. A confirmation of the booking will be sent to the email address provided on the booking form detailing the rates, the arrival date, number of days to be charged and the total amount to be charged. Sport of Kings motel is not responsible for ensuring the booking confirmation is recieved.
Check-in:
Is available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is 10am on the day of departure. Early check-in and / or check-out is by arrangement.
Cancellation policy:
Sport of Kings Motel requires at least 48hrs notice prior to 2:00pm on the date of arrival, if you intend to cancel your booking. Failure to do so may result in you being charged a cancellation fee of one nights accommodation . We also reserve the right to hold any deposit held in relation to said booking. For Group Bookings, (being bookings of more than three rooms by one person or organisation) we require at least two weeks notice of cancellation.
Refund policy:
All deposits will be re-funded in full if a booking is cancelled within the appropriate time frame. However please note that a deposit taken from a credit card can only be refunded to that same credit card within one month of the card being debited. We do not offer cash refunds.
Credit Card guarantees:
Bookings will be confirmed with a valid credit card number and expiry date or a internet bank direct credit of one nights accommodation for each room booked.
Changes in reservation terms:
Any change in reservation term will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extension/alteration to a booking is subject to availability of rooms. Earlier departures than the reserved date are subject to the Cancellation policy above.
Smoking:
This is a smoke free complex. Please smoke outside and away from doors and open windows, and be considerate of other guests at all times. In the event of a guest or a guest visitor having smoked in the room we will engage a specialist cleaning company to clean and de-odourise the room. We reserve the right to charge such costs and any resulting loss of income during the cleaning and de-odourising process to the registered guest.
A typical charge for this process and associated loss of income is $750.00.
Visitors:
Visitors are permitted at management discretion. The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all visitors whilst they are on the property. All deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to Sport of Kings property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the motel, shall be charged to the registered guest.
Illegal Activities & Wilfull Damage
Where any guest or visitor of any guest is suspected of involvement in any illegal activity or where property has been subjected to wilfull damage the police will be called to investigate. Any subsequent prosecution by the police will be supported by Sport of Kings management.
Irrespective of police action any costs incurred by Sport of Kings Motel will be charged to the guest.
